Registering for training events, payment and cancellation terms

Registration for training events is binding, which means that the participant must pay to participate in the training event they have chosen. Private individuals may pay for a training event upon registration. We do not send invoices to private individuals. Upon registration, the participant shall enter all their details correctly.

Corporate customers have the option to pay the participation fees by invoice. For corporate customers, payment terms are 10 days net. For private individuals, payment terms are 30 days net. Corporate customers are invoiced by Avaava Digital Oy (2854071-1). A reference number that matches the invoice must always be used when paying an invoice. Training fees include VAT valid at the time. The proportion of VAT is shown on the invoice.
The payment gateway is provided by Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and financial institutions. Paytrail Oyj is shown as the payee on the account statement or credit card bill, and Paytrail Oyj relays the payment to Avaava Digital Oy. Paytrail Oyj holds a payment institution license. If you have any complaints, we recommend you contact the supplier first.

Discount codes

If you have a discount code, please enter it in the discount code field in the registration form when signing up for a training event. Discounts codes that are specific to a company or an individual may not be transferred for the purpose of any use that violates these terms or the service agreement.

 

Cancellation policy

There is no charge for cancellations made more than seven (7) working days before the start of in-person or online training. Cancellations made within seven (7) days of the event date will be charged at 50% of the total price of the training. No shows will be charged at 100% of the reservation value. To cancel a reservation, please email us at koulutus@avaava.fi.

 

Transferring a reservation to another person or rescheduling a training event

A binding reservation may be transferred to another person at no extra charge by emailing us about it at least two (2) days before the event date at koulutus@avaava.fi. If you have a reservation for yourself and you would like to reschedule your training event date, you may choose a date that is no more than six (6) months beyond the original event date by emailing us at koulutus@avaava.fi. The fee for the original training event is charged for rescheduled training events.

 

Copyrights to training materials

Avaava Oy and Avaava Digital Oy hold the copyrights to or a conditional right to use the content of all training events. Copying, recording, publishing or using the training materials for any other purpose than completing a training course is strictly prohibited by copyright law.
