Avaava has been selected as Finland’s representative in the European Commission’s four-year AccessibleEU flagship initiative. As part of the initiative, Avaava will organise events and seminars related to barrier-free design, accessibility and inclusivity. There will be three events in 2024. All the events are free to attend. Events organised by Avaava are mainly conducted in Finnish. Each of our seminars offers speech-to-text interpreting in Finnish as well as interpreting in Finnish Sign Language. We use this website to compile information about events in Finland and elsewhere in Europe. To learn more about the initiative, please visit the Current matters section of our website .
